Vascular and Interventional Radiology is a sub-specialty of radiology where the doctor can perform elaborate procedures to treat diseases, often with little more than a needle puncture to the skin. These procedures are done using ultrasound, CT scan
and x-rays to look inside the body rather than performing a major surgery. Treating patients using the minimally invasive techniques minimizes risk to the patient and improves health outcomes. The recovery time is generally rapid. The range of diseases
